Part 3 - Educational Use

So now here is the part where we can look at how blogs are actually being used in classrooms around the country (and probably the world).

In group of 2-3, review each of the following educational blogs. Using the provided handout, examine the blog has been utilized, including how the blog or blogs are set up, who is writing, where they are writing, topics being discussed, etc.

• Immigrant Journal Experience WebQuest, Student Examples

Next, identify four or five types of educational blog applications.

Last, have one of the group members make a quick post on the GUHSD 2006 Collaboration blog that describes your findings. Go to Blogger. Everyone else can post how you might implement a blog in YOUR classroom.
